In order to further enhance the quality of our publications and ensure the sustainable management of the journal, the following revisions will be applied to articles published in issues released in January 2026 and thereafter. We kindly ask all members, prospective authors, and contributors to review these updates carefully.
1. Revision of Annual Publication Schedules
Beginning in 2026, the annual publication schedules of our three journals will be revised to establish a more systematic and timely framework for disseminating research findings. Specifically, the Asian Journal of Human Services will increase its frequency from two issues per year to six. The sister journals, Total Rehabilitation Research and the Journal of Inclusive Education, will continue to publish one issue per year; however, their publication months will be revised. Please refer to the table below for detailed information.

2. Revision of Article Processing Charges (APC)
The APC will be revised for articles published in issues released in January 2026 and thereafter. This revision is intended to strengthen our editorial system and enhance the quality of international scholarly dissemination. Please note that no revision will be made to the APC for Total Rehabilitation Research. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

3. Revision of the AJHS Submission Guidelines
The revised AJHS Submission Guidelines (2026 Edition) will be released shortly. In this update, new provisions have been added, existing sections have been revised, and the overall structure and wording have been improved to make the guidelines easier for authors to navigate. All authors are requested to consult the updated guidelines when preparing submissions. Please pay particular attention to the revised sections regarding manuscript format and reference style. The revised guidelines will be published on September 8, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., and will apply to submissions for Volume 30 and onward.
